A Pisang peak climbing is one of the famous activities in Nepal for the mountaineers. It is located in the Annapurna Region along with several other small trekking peaks. The peak is one of the smallest trekking peaks which can be climbed easily and is famous among novice climbers for this region. In 1955, a German expedition was made the first ascent of Pisang peak and since it has been going very popular nowadays.
To climb the Pisang Peak, we trek along the Annapurna region across peaceful hamlets, where the mountains look over us throughout the trail. We star our trek from Beshishar, which is the starting point of Annapurna circuit trekking. The trail offers you a massif views of mountain, flora and fauna. The summit of the Pisang Peak offers excellent views of the Annapurna I, II, IV, III, Gangapurna, Manaslu, Lamjung Himal and other smaller peaks. After we ascend the Pisang Peak, we descend to Muktinath and Jomsom, before arriving in Pokhara where our trek ends. Muktinath is one of the famous Hindu and Buddhist pilgrimage sites of Nepal.
