|Day1: Arrival Kathmandu and transfer to Hotel
Upon your arrival at Tribhuwan International airport, Kathmandu, our office representative will pick up you and transfer by tourist vehicle to your hotel. Overnight at hotel included bed and breakfast.
|Day2 : Fly to Lhasa and rest day
After our breakfast, we head towards international airport to take a flight over might Himalayas range to Lhasa, Gongar International airport. From the plane, you will have massif views of Mt. Everest, (8,848m), Kanchenjunga (8,536m) and many other peaks. After your arrival then transfer to the hotel for refreshment. We highly advised you to take a rest this day in order to get acclimatize for the rest of the day. Overnight at hotel included bed and breakfast.
|Day3 : Full Day Lhasa Sightseeing in Potala Durbar, Norbulinka and Tibetan museum
We start our sightseeing around Lhasa after breakfast in the morning. Today we visit wonderful Potala palace, Norbulinka a summer place of Dalai Lama and Tibetan museum. We pay our first visit to Potala palace which dominant the city of Lhasa. It is a private quarters of Dalai Lama having grand state rooms and many important chapels. And then we visit Norbulinka. It is the house of Dalai Lama to visit in summer and considered to be the largest man made garden in Tibet. Eventually, we visit Tibet museum which has a permanent collection of around 1000 artifacts related to the cultural history of Tibet. Overnight at hotel included bed and breakfast.
|Day4 : Visit Drayerpa Cave and Ganden Monastery at Lhasa
After your breakfast, we take a drive to pay visit to Ganden Monastery which is 57km east of Lhasa, located at the top of Wangbur Mountain (3,800m). Ubiquitously known for its subtle and excellent murals and sculptures, Garden Monastery which is the oldest, is considered as one of the great three among the six Gelug Sect Monasteries in Tibet. Furthermore, the monastery also retains the suit of armor embellished with precious stones to clothe by Emperor Qianlong which was accorded to monastery as an endowment Tsong Khapa, the founder of the Gelug Sect. At the cocktail hour, we jaunted to the Drayerpa Cave situated in an alluring valley with an astonishing topography. Meanwhile, the valley also incorporated more than 30 caves for the Lamas who desired to ponder in a hushed environment. At the end of the day, we receded to Lhasa and expended the night included bed and breakfast.
|Day5 : Explore Jokhang Temple, Sera Monastery, Drepung Monastery and Barkhor Bazaar
Following the morning meal, we took a trip to the Drepung Monastery, Sera Monastery, Jokhang Temple and Barkhor Bazaar. Built in the 14th century, Drepung Monastery is considered as a sanctuary for about 10,000 monks in the past but now its holds about a few hundred monks as the numbers are declining. This astounding monastery strongly embraces the history, culture and religious beliefs of the Tibetan people. Another breathtaking monastery is Sera Monastery that sustains white-washed walls and golden roofs. While Jokhang monastery is one of the salient holy site that untangles the deep-rooted enigma of Tibetan Buddhism. As moving on through the Barkhor Bazaar (market), we got to experience the enthusiasm and eagerness in its surrounding. Having the open air stalls, shops and the crowd of the pilgrims, it is the central hub of Lhasa. Overnight at Lhasa included bed and breakfast.
|Day6 : Fly Back to Kathmandu
After your breakfast in the morning, our office representative will escorted to the Lhasa airport for your onward journey to Kathmandu. And then transfer to the hotel for the refreshment. Overnight at hotel included bed and breakfast.
|Day7 : Departure Day
Eventually, our trip comes to an end. Today is your departure day, we will drop you to the International airport to catch your flight back to your home and pray for your Safe journey.
