Trip Overview

This 5 days Kathmandu historical city tour emphasize the glimpse of country to the cultural heritages sites. The Kathmandu valley has been called on big museum- a vast store house of historical Hindus and Buddhist art with more shrines and temples per square km than anywhere else in the world. The Nepalese even boast of having developed the pagoda style of architecture and successfully exporting it to China and Japan. More than two hundred years ago, in a statement that still has a wisp of truth in it, the English author Kirkpatrick said: The valley consists of as many idols as there are men. There are seven world heritage sites in Kathmandu valley which includes Kathmandu, Patan and Bhaktapur Durbar squares & Swyambhunath, Bouddhanath, Pashupatinath and Changunarayan shrine temples.

From the vicinity of Kathmandu, one of the best views of the sunrise and Himalayan ranges in Nepal including Everest could be obtained from Nagarkot. Situated on a ridge northeast of the valley, Nagarkot offers a view trip with its fine views of eight of the ten highest mountain peaks in the world is one the visitor to Kathmandu should not miss. For many visitors it is a trip for a day just to watch the sunrise and sunset over the Himalayas.
